My favoured subjects are Phonics, Writing and Reading for Primary age students but I studied English Language, History and Psychology at University so I am sufficient in those areas too. I also help teach maths at primary level. Further, I am extremely competent in essay writing so I would be more than happy to help with this.
I do not like to overload those that I help with lots of information, I do try and take a slower and more easy-going approach to learning. I am always willing to create resources to help the learner and if they can’t learn in a typical way then I am happy to find another way to learn i.e. playing a game!
I think it is important to keep lessons below an hour and I aim for between 30-40 minutes a session (unless otherwise requested). I find this helps keep important information fresh and not overload the learner!
