As a secondary school teacher, I am passionate about creating a meaningful classroom environment where students are motivated to engage with the content and skills essential to become informed citizens. Hello!
My name is Zoe. I am a secondary teacher with experience teaching in Victoria and Queensland. I have extensive experience teaching Biology (VCE and QCE), General Science (7-10), Maths (7-10), HPE (7-10) and Health and Human Development (VCE and QCE). I am familiar with the VCE and 7-10 Curriculum, as well as the IBMYP program. I can help with homework, units of study, exam revision, assignments, and general literacy and numeracy skills.
Prior to becoming a secondary teacher, I worked as an Accredited Practising Dietitian. I am able to also assist Tertiary students with Health Sciences and Nutrition subjects, as well as general numeracy, science and essay writing skills.
I have experience in supporting students with a range of academic ability levels, including both high achievers and students with additional learning needs. I am friendly and approachable, and genuinely enjoy watching my students improve and develop a passion for learning.
AVAILABILITY
I offer both face-to-face and online learning options via various platforms such as Zoom, Skype and FaceTime. I have some availability on weekday evenings and weekends.
