About Rebecca
My name is Rebecca, I am 29 years old and I have been teaching Biology and Science in Secondary schools for 5 years.
I got into teaching after spending time working as a Pupil Support Assistant and since then I have maintained a firm commitment to supporting the most vulnerable students and those with additional support needs.
I am passionate about both teaching and Biology and would be delighted to support anyone, of any age and stage, to reach their full potential.

Sessions will last between 1-2 hours.
New students will go through a welcome interview to assess stage of learning, knowledge gaps, and preferred style of learning (what works for you?)
A typical session will include;
- Recall of prior knowledge. (5-10 minutes)
- Delivery of new knowledge, with opportunity for note taking and questions. (15-20 minutes)
- Application of new knowledge, through the used of Past Paper Qs, problem solving activities and creative tasks. (20-25 minutes)
- Plenary and an opportunity for further questions. (5-10 minutes)
Notes and other lesson resources will be made available via Google Classroom.
