About Eoghan
I am 26 and I am from Laois. I have been passionate about Irish since I was a teenager when I started attending Coláiste Lurgan summer school to learn Irish in Galway. From there I learned the culture behind the language and why we must preserve her and extend her into Irish life more. I enjoy using the language everyday both in my circle of friends and throughout life. I enjoy attending Irish speaking cirlces where you can meet and chat as Gaeilge with new people. I have been a secondary school teacher for 3 years and can teach both Honours and Ordinary level to Junior and Senior Cycle students.

Lessons can be decided by what the student wants. If you are a secondary school student I can help you through the curriculum by going through stories and poetry along with notes. Also working on oral work will be very important to students both in Junior and Senior cycle. If you are a beginner or intermediate learner of Irish we can focus on your needs. These classes are more student-led and are designed to address and resolve students' difficulties. We would aim to target the four main areas of language: spoken, written, reading and listening.

Perfect! Eoghan is a fantastic tutor, extremely patient and very hard working. He is excellent at explaining difficult concepts in a simplified manner. He has really helped my son prep himself for JC Irish. Thanks to Eoghan my son is feeling much more confident going in to his exam.

I would highly recommend Eoghan as a teacher for anyone learning and improving their Irish. He's great for expanding your cúpla focail with abundant enthusiasm for each class!
Eoghan is a trustworthy tutor because he explains things clearly and makes sure you understand the material being thought. He shows a lot of patience and is certainly always willing to help you out, whether it’s answering questions or providing extra resources for further studies. Eoghan is also very reliable and consistent in his teaching.
