About Carlie
I am currently a high school mathematics teacher in Michigan. I have worked in public and private schools for 7 years teaching middle school and high school level math courses. I have also been a private tutor for various individuals for over 10 years. I love to make math easier and more enjoyable for those who typically struggle. I approach each lesson and each individual from the ground up. I focus on the basic items of the lesson and make sure that my student has a solid foundation before moving on to applying the topics to a more advanced application of the topic. I break down the material into small and manageable pieces to ensure understanding. I am very patient and will make sure that I move at the pace of my student.

Rates may vary based on the level of content and hours requested. If a student does not show up without giving at least a 2-hour notice, students will be charged half the session price. If a session needs to be cancelled or rescheduled and more than a 2-hour notice is given, no charge will be associated with the session.
