About MICHAEL
I was a secondary math teacher prior to becoming a school principal. I taught in a diagnostic/prescriptive high school program, a middle school and high school. I also was the Coordinator of Lake County Virtual School. (A) school. I am aware of the varying learning styles of students and strive to meet the individual needs of students.

My teaching approach is to first diagnose a students strengths, weaknesses and learning style. My goal is to establish effective communication so that I can best address difficulties students may have. I do teach, review and then test the student on the particular skill the student is trying to master. I do expect students to achieve a minimum of 85% mastery of a skill prior to advancing to the next skill area. My job is to determine how a student learns and use various methods of instruction to achieve student success.
