About Imogen
I am a BTEC Extended Diploma student in Musical theatre. I love helping people achieve their goals. I have taught students from year 5 to year 10. Currently, I have availability from 6pm weekdays and all weekend. I strive for the students I work with to achieve the highest possible grade, as well as teaching them techniques that they can apply to other subjects. I have always enjoyed maths and being close in age to those I am tutoring, I can understand them easier, and get them back on track if they get distracted.

I first find out what the student is struggling with most, and plan how to help them around this. Then, I find questions that match with what they are struggling with, give them examples on how to do the problems, making sure that they are the ones who find out the answer. I then will set them some problems to do, and if I see they are struggling, I will help them find the answer. A typical length of a lesson would be 45 minutes or an hour. I have three years' experience in helping students from year 5 onwards in their ability to read the questions and with any parts of maths they do not get. The lessons are for those preparing for SATs and GCSEs. Since I am Neurodivergent, I will be able to help other Neurodivergents more easily.
