Introduction to My Teaching Techniques and Methodology
With over 10 years of experience as a secondary and senior high school English teacher, I specialize in delivering engaging, student-centered lessons tailored to diverse learning needs. My methodology combines innovative teaching strategies, such as differentiated instruction and technology-integrated learning, to foster comprehension and critical thinking. I emphasize interactive activities, real-world applications, and continuous assessment to ensure measurable progress.
Lesson Structure:
60 minutes, blending direct instruction, collaborative discussions, and hands-on practice to maintain engagement and reinforce skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
• PhD in Education (Applied Linguistics, Dissertation Stage) and MA in English, complemented by experience in TESOL and IELTS Academic (Band 7).
• Extensive experience teaching secondary to senior high school students (ages 12–18), as well as online instruction for adult learners (e.g., Korean students at YBM Phone and Talk Inc.).
• Proven track record in curriculum development, teacher training, and improving student outcomes through data-driven strategies.
Target Students:
• Levels: Junior high to senior high school (ESL and native speakers), IELTS/ESOL learners.
• Ages: 12–18 for school programs; adults for test preparation or professional communication.
