About Péter
Coming from a family, treasuring knowledge above all, my affinity towards studying has been inherent to me my whole life. Through tutoring various children of less advantageous backgrounds, my passion for opening eyes shut by a bad school system or a lack of attention developed, and I consider myself extremely lucky for being able to have rewarding feelings from doing the work, I am best at.

I have had various experiences coaching children from ages 7-18, all of whom received highly individualised attention and methodology. The only approach set, that I am -and have always been- unwilling to let go of is regarding my students as equals, whether they be lacking motivation, trivial knowledge, or skill. Accordingly, my methods are, rather than telling them what to think, inclined to support them in realising for themselves,- in the manner, best suited to them-, how to think. Studying in the Faculty of Comparative Literature at UCL for two years has equipped me with all the skills necessary in close reading and textual analysis, as well as forming articulate written responses. Through having worked in a children's camp for six years, not only am I able to guarantee academic excellence but a positive experience-based way of achieving so, making every lesson enjoyable, besides being informative. I offer 60, 90, and 120-minute lessons, ranging from primary school, GCSE, and the equivalents, to A-level preparation. The lessons may be conducted online or face-to-face, based on the trainee's preferences. All ages (including adults) are welcome!
