My teaching method varies widely between each student, depending upon their particular strengths, areas for improvement, and their examination board.
During my first lesson with a student, I will begin with a discussion about particular topics that they are working through in school or any subject area they find the most challenging. In my experience of teaching students, I have found that most find it useful when I spend roughly 10-20 minutes reteaching any content that they find particularly difficult, while explaining it in a way that may be easier to digest.
