About Trevina
Hi! I'm a second-year medical student with a passion for helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals.
I have previous experience tutoring GCSE Maths and volunteering with Year 7 reading support, where I developed a patient, encouraging teaching style tailored to each student's needs.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt lessons to suit their pace while making sure they fully understand the concepts rather than simply memorising answers.
My lessons focus on strengthening core knowledge, improving exam technique, and building confidence through plenty of worked examples and practice questions.

Every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to their individual needs, learning style, and academic goals. Whether you're looking to improve your confidence, strengthen your understanding of key topics, or achieve a top GCSE grade, I'll create lessons that are engaging, supportive, and focused on your success.
Lessons typically begin by reviewing previous topics and identifying any areas of difficulty. We then work through concepts step by step using clear explanations, worked examples, and plenty of opportunities to ask questions. As students gain confidence, we reinforce learning with practice questions and past paper exam-style problems to develop both subject knowledge and exam technique.
I believe that understanding why something works is just as important as knowing the answer. My aim is to help students become independent, confident learners rather than simply memorising methods.
I teach online using interactive resources and adapt the pace of each lesson to suit the student. At the end of every session, I'll summarise what we've covered and, where appropriate, suggest practice questions to reinforce learning between lessons.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and supportive, creating a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.
