About Dev
Greetings! My name is Dev. I am currently pursuing my Engineering from VIT, Pune. Teaching has been a long-time passion and dare I say a hobby of mine. Hailing from a teaching background further molded me into teaching professionally ever since I was 13. The most important skill of a teacher is to keep the student engaged as well as to keep them curious. To follow up that curiosity, making the student understand difficult concepts by using simple and easy-to-understand words and examples would be the second most important skill. I would like to take pride in both of these areas. Creating a fun and comfortable environment so that the student doesn't feel embarrassed to ask even the most basic of doubts is the right and only way.

In my humble opinion, it is important to vibe with the student as well to develop an interest in the subject/topic being taught. Being a student myself, I find it particularly more fun and easier to grasp a topic when you get to know how exactly it's being used and why you're studying it. I implement this in almost every lecture of my class. Flexible timings, one-to-one interaction, topic-related videos. Science and maths tutoring for students from 8-12 grade. Also, after teaching online for over 2 years, it has given me good experience and insight about the various fun and useful tools that can be used to teach and make online tutoring fun. Looking forward to our class together
