About Matilda
I think the best way to learn and appreciate science is by asking questions, even the really silly ones, so I strive to culture an inquisitive learning environment. I truly think science is accessible to everyone and I'd love to be part of that journey of not only understanding it, but enjoying it! I've seen first-hand that school can focus very heavily on exams and although this is important I believe finding the love of learning will help tremendously to increase your confidence!

After having tutoring myself for many years I know exactly what is needed to get the most out of a session. I aim to be approachable and give really clear explanations. Lessons will typically be 1 hour long. I have 3 A*s in Biology, Chemistry and Physics A level so I have got to know the ins and outs of exams pretty well! I have tutored GCSCE physics and KS3 literacy for a year so have some experience in how best to help!
