About Andrew
I have been teaching Leaving Certificate and Junior Certificate History and Geography for 9 years. I have experience in giving private tuition in person. I work with all age groups and abilites. I am exam focused, and like to focus on essay writing and project work to maximise students marks prior to an exam.

My approach is collaborative, working together to find areas that the student struggles with. I aim to increase their confidence with the ultimate goal of achieving better grades. My preferred method is to work through sample questions to not only to learn the content, but also to improve exam technique.
At the end of each lesson, I ask the student what went well, and what would they like to change about the tutoring session. I then incorporate this into my lesson planning.
