About Alex
1 year experience tutoring college-level calculus. I successfully got two students who were failing their calculus courses to pass.
Half semester experience working as an undergraduate teaching assistant in a studio physics class. Duties included grading, being a lab assistant, and lecturing.
Half semester experience working as an undergraduate teaching assistant in an observational astronomy lab.
I'm also a published science fiction author and I have extensive writing experience and abilities.

I have a Bachelor's of Science in physics, with a concentration in astrophysics and a minor in mathematics. I have a year of tutoring experience, and a year of experience working as an undergraduate teaching assistant. I'm happy to work with any learning style, and I know how to break down complex topics and make students feel comfortable asking questions.
