About Appaloosa
As a private tutor I think it is important to relate to the student on many levels. Encourage your student to express where he is having challenges. Allow him to talk about his work in school and any problems he might be having with homework. It is also important that your student understand that you are there to assist him in any other areas that he may not feel confident in. A symbiotic relationship with your student is necessary at the get-go.
