About Ryan
I have my bachelors degree from San Francisco State University, and a masters degree from Antioch University Santa Barbara. I enjoy hiking, running, mountain biking, and hanging out with my husky. I also thoroughly enjoy keeping up with the newest EMS related topics primarily through reading JEMS articles.

Hi! I look forward to hopefully working with you! I am a nationally registered EMT with eight years of field experience. I worked three years as a EMT for a private BLS ambulance provider in the Bay Area, and four years providing services in a very busy 911 system in the East Bay area of Northern California. I also have worked one year as a reserve fire fighter/EMT for a county jurisdiction. Outside of my field experience I have worked in EMS policy implementation as a EMS Systems Planner with a county public health department.
