About Yagmur
I studied undergrad at Georgia State University, graduated with a Bachelor's in Chemistry with a biochemistry concentration. My graduate degree is an MBA with a Data Analytics focus. I worked in retail, pharmacy, and currently work in a corporate setting as a scientist. I have taught and trained many interns/externs/colleagues throughout my career. One high school student I tutored progressed from failing 4 out of 6 courses to passing all within 2 months.

When tutoring, I take into account the mental state of the student and focus on increasing the student's confidence as taking ownership plays a big role in one's ability to learn and absorb information. I try to focus on the missing pieces and develop those in order for the student to be comfortable with the subject. I like to solve a problem together then let the student solve on his/her own to review together.
