About Tamsin
I a 23 year old medical student studying at King's College London, having already completed a PGDip in clinical oncology and BSc in biomedical science. I have been to a variety of schools and assisted multiple students between the ages of 8-13 with study session for maths and general science. I also have an enhance DBS certificate, which I am happy to show upon request.

My tutoring style for younger students is to encourage them to have fun with studying, to make it seem less of a chore, and make the learning aspects easier. I like to mix up my lessons into 15-20 minute blocks for different topics, and also to make sure the student gets the most out of the session. As you can only concentrate in one style of learning for 20 minutes, this is the best way to make sure you get the most out of our time together. I like to mix simple tasks with fun study games, and also like to leave a small amount of homework, to make sure in-between sessions you are still getting the most out of the tutoring.

For students in year 9 and under are the rates listed above.
For students in years 10 and 11 rates are slightly increased as work will focus more towards GCSE exams. (rates for students in years 10&11 are as follows: £22/hr - 5hrs for £95 - 10hrs for £175)
