I like to think of my style as having a basis in "logical improv", where we start at the disconnect for a problem and bounce ideas around until we make something work. I also love to use humor and references to make connections to other things; that way, students can use something they are familiar with as a baseline for learning new concepts, which helps them to retain information better. My lessons, which follow the model of "I do, we do, you do", are best suited for middle and high school students who are looking for help with science, be it for mathematical or conceptual reasons.
