I am a seasoned teacher with progressive, sometimes controversial ideas. TEDx contacted me in 2009 to do a talk and since then my social media calendar has burgeoned. Of the tens of thousands of interesting interactions I have enjoyed with teachers online, I can count on one hand the number of educators I've met with strikingly insightful contributions. Michael was one of these.
We chatted online many times before we met in person in 2022, when I attended an education event in the UK where Michael was speaking. It goes without say that he is intelligent but what separates him from the herd are his unique approach to learning and his compassionate understanding of students as individuals.
Any learner fortunate enough to have Michael as their tutor will be positively impacted academically and personally. I have no doubt whatsoever that Michael will make a fantastic tutor.
