About Connor
My love for politics and history comes from a deep fascination with how people, ideas, and decisions shape the world we live in. Politics shows us the power of debate, compromise, and leadership, while history gives us the context to understand why societies develop the way they do. Together, they reveal not only the struggles and mistakes of the past, but also the possibilities for building a better future. I want to teach politics and history because I believe these subjects are more than academic—they are life lessons. They encourage critical thinking, open debate, and a sense of responsibility as citizens. Teaching them would allow me to inspire students to question, to reflect, and to form their own informed opinions about the world. My goal is to bring these subjects alive in the classroom, showing that history is not just dates and events, and politics is not just policies and parties—they are both about people, choices, and the way we live together.
