About Anabella
My passion for tutoring fuels my commitment to delivering useful and engaging lessons. With a natural curiosity and a keen eye for storytelling, my dedication to my tutoring job is further enhanced through my experiences as a pundit and writer for Varsity 2023. These roles, accompanied by my journalism degree and work at award-winning magazine DESIblitz, have honed my ability to teach and pass over my techniques.
My skills have flourished in the roles of Vice-President of Social Activities in college and of President of the Creative Writing Society. Especially, my fluency in Romanian, Italian and English, along with growing proficiency in French, allows me to connect with all those who I will teach. My active involvement in social issues and advocacy as a past Vice-chair of a Stop and Search Youth Panel, Holocaust Ambassador and Athena Swan representative, reflect my deep commitment to positive change and education.

My teaching follows the structure of a starter activity, teaching, a comprehensive activity to check for level of understanding, further teaching and an ending activity.
I usually teach online and sessions last 1 hour each, but times and total number of sessions can be changed according to customer needs.
I usually teach A Level students in their final year for the subjects of Sociology, English language and Philosophy A levels, as well as GCSE English (both language and literature).
I have been teaching for months following the same notes that got me my A*AA in my A Level subjects. I always cover mark schemes and question structures and provide advice to get the most marks.
