About Ekaterina
I'm a 19-year-old Computer Science student at SUTD (Singapore University of Technology and Design). English is my second language — I started learning at age 6, graduated from one of Russia's top schools (HSE Lyceum), and have been living and studying fully in English in Singapore for the past 10 months.
All my lectures, projects, and daily communication are in English. I've helped friends with writing and grammar, written articles in English, and am an upcoming volunteer English reading assistant for young children.
As someone who learned English as a foreign language myself, I understand exactly where learners struggle and how to explain things clearly. I find that teaching deepens my own understanding too — so I bring genuine enthusiasm to every lesson, not just going through the motions.

Russian
Every new student starts with a free trial session where we get to know each other — I assess your current level, understand your goals, and see where you'd like to improve. The session includes reading and listening exercises, a short quiz, and a casual conversation in English so I can hear how you actually speak.
From there, regular lessons follow a clear structure: homework review, new grammar concepts, grammar practice, and speaking. That said, every student is different — lessons are always flexibly adapted to your pace, goals, and weak spots, whether you're preparing for exams or just want to feel more confident in everyday English.
