About Andrew
I have taught English in secondary schools for fifteen years, worked as an A Level examiner for AQA, OCR and Edexcel, and now work as Head of English in one of the most prestigious, ‘Outstanding’ rated comprehensive secondary schools in the country. I tutor because I love sharing the wonders of literature with young adults and unlocking their potential.

I provide hour-long lessons for students of A Level English Literature, GCSE English Literature and GCSE English Language. Prior to our first session, you will send me information regarding which qualification and exam board you are studying, together with sample work, so that I can diagnose your particular learning needs and design bespoke lessons for you. I will set work and mark it between sessions, so that I can better understand your progress and how to tailor future lessons to ensure you maximise your potential.
