About Juan
I am a Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineer at UTS and already working in the field currently in third year of an Honours Bachelor degree. I've been tutoring since year 11 and my students find I'm particularly clear and able to put my teaching into the perspective of the learner as I know how to break down solutions and explain each segment until every question is truly understood. The video attached is the 2023 Warman Challenge where I led the only team to deposit all 6 balls into the pipes using a programmed Mechatronics robot.

I approach my teaching by allowing my students to answer the questions to the best of their ability while correcting their errors and explaining to them where they went wrong or what habits could be improved on. I explain my thought process stopping at each step and constantly making sure that they understand how I got there and why we're using these processes. I will often start with a simple question and then select questions that would further improve their skills in using these processes. My philosophy urges students to use their imagination and creativity to unravel abstract equations in their unique thought process and learn to love problem solving.
