About Mary
As a student in an accelerated math program, I have developed a strong foundation in a wide range of advanced math topics. I have experience working through challenging material myself and understand what it takes to succeed in a rigorous academic environment. I am responsible, organized, and committed to helping other students reach their academic goals. As a current student, I also have a firsthand understanding of today’s curriculum, assignments, and common challenges students face. I bring patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to help students improve their understanding and confidence in math.

As a student in an accelerated math course, I have gained a strong understanding of multiple advanced math subjects. As a student myself, I can truly relate to different learning styles and understand that not everyone learns math in the same way. I am patient, encouraging, and willing to explain concepts in multiple ways until a student finds an approach that works for them. I want to make math feel less intimidating and help students build both their skills and confidence. I also understand the challenges that come with balancing school, homework, and extracurricular activities, so I can help students develop effective study habits and strategies that work for them. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy helping others understand something that they may have initially found difficult, and I would be committed to making every tutoring session productive, supportive, and personalized.
