About Alina
Since I was young, math has always been where I excel in. I am proficient in pre-college Algebra, trigonometry, and AP Precalculus. I also have skills in chemistry from taking AP Chem., Honors Chem., and doing biomedical research. Any middle and elementary school topics are simple for me to teach. I can connect high school students to math and chemistry, as well.

The best way for a student to learn is by learning from mistakes to be successful the next time they try a problem! Every student learns at a different pace and has different reasons to learn. Working on practice problems given from school or brought by me allows me to access the student's skill and what part of solving they need help in. Memorization is not the goal to learn, being focused and having a deep comprehension in a topic by engaging in feedback leads to understanding. I apply this to teaching elementary and middle school students in most subjects and lower high school students in chemistry and most importantly, math.
