About Raisa
I'm looking to help students like you in a no-stress, easy going environment: no matter the mistakes we make, or the struggle to pick up a new technique. I joined my school's newspaper club in fifth grade. Ever since then, writing has held a special place in my heart. To me, writing is like manipulating words to create a picture: you are the artist. By working with me, we can unlock your inner artist!

Although we'll work to improve you writing skills, our lessons will be predominantly conversational. We might choose a literary text at your academic level (middle to high school), read it, and answer some discussion/analyzation questions together. For the writing portion of the class, I might have you write a response to a similar type of question, or, work on a creative piece. I want to help you establish a personal connection to your writing, so your words can convey your message in a clear, strong, or artistic manner.
