About Aman
My Training:
I am a certified Hatha Yoga teacher with a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training from Rishikesh. I continue to study anatomy and movement through ongoing learning and mentorship.
My Teaching Experience:
I have taught yoga for 3+ years, primarily to beginners and working professionals. I have adapted practices for students with physical conditions and limitations, including frozen shoulder, sciatica, chondromalacia patella and osteoporosis, and entirely chair-based practice. I have taught private students, groups and chair yoga for employees at an investment bank.
My Corporate Background:
Before teaching yoga professionally, I spent several years in financial services and investment banking. I understand first-hand the challenges of long working hours, sedentary routines and maintaining a consistent movement practice.
My Journey with Yoga:
Introduced to yoga through my mother, I began practising seriously in 2013. Over time, yoga became an important part of my life and eventually something I wanted to teach and share with others.
Why I Teach:
I love helping people discover that their bodies and minds are capable of more than they thought. For me, progress isn’t only achieving the final shape of a pose. It can mean becoming stronger, moving with greater confidence, understanding your body better, or doing something that once felt beyond your ability.

“Who are the classes for?”
Beginners, working professionals, and anyone looking to build strength, flexibility and a sustainable yoga practice.
“Will the class be personalized for me?”
Yes. Classes are adapted to your ability and goals rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.
“I’m completely new. Will I be able to do this?”
Absolutely. You don’t need any previous yoga experience or flexibility to begin.
“What if I can’t do a pose?”
We use props, modifications and progressions so you can practise at an appropriate level and progress at your own pace.
“What if I have physical limitations?”
I can adapt the practice to physical and mobility limitations, including chair-based practice when needed.
“How do I know if these classes are right for me?”
We can start with a complimentary discovery call to discuss your goals, experience and any physical limitations.
“Will I actually progress?”
Yes. As your strength, flexibility and control improve, we gradually work towards more challenging variations and poses.
“Is yoga mostly stretching?”
Not in my classes. We work on strength, flexibility, balance and body awareness.
