About Ahmed
I have a Ph.D. in physics from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. I have research experience of more than 20 years in theoretical physics. I have taught physics at the postgraduate level at the Department of Physics, Savitribai Phule Pune University (formerly known as Pune University). I have guided Ph.D. students. Recently retired.

I try to teach through engaging the student's capacity for logical reasoning, rather than by repetitive, mechanical drill. I try to lead a student through graded exercises into a development of sound understanding of the basic ideas. My teaching is intended for pre-university (class 11, 12, IIT-JEE, CET) and university students in the subjects of physics, mathematics and statistics.
