About Vivian
I have a love of science which I can foster in my students. I appreciate a clear understanding of concepts which can be used to promote further studies and an understanding of the world we live in. I am able to calmly refute many of the false claims made by our increasingly unscientific political leadership.

I have over 36 years teaching experience and was head of a large science department for 12 years.
I have a B.Sc in Biology and Cert.Ed. in secondary education from the University of London and a D.Phil from the University of York.
I have a friendly manner and can give classes to gain conceptual understanding and to increase performance in exams. I have experience with a number of exam boards.
My classes are extremely well prepared with written material custom produced for every class and sent out the day before each class (or brought along printed to face-to-face classes).
