About Suriyan
I am a retired NYC DOE math teacher. I was also a former adjunct instructor of math at Hofstra University and Touro college. I have taught math from grade 7 to college level, ex., Calculus 1, 2 and Statistics.

My teaching strategy is to watch the student solve a problem. Should he/she get it incorrect, I will guide them to the correct answer, perhaps using more than one method. I also check to see if student can do a similar problem.
