I have a Master's in Secondary Mathematics teaching, and have recently retired after teaching for 31 years. I did teach mostly in the middle school, but am comfortable with any high school classes--given some background. I believe that any student can learn math to the highest level!

While I was teaching, I always liked to have students explore the math first, to give them the opportunity to figure out the answer themselves. I do, however, have years (many years!) of experience finding the best hints to give to get students where they need to be.
