About Marcia
I enjoy working with all types of students. I believe that anyone who wants to learn mathematics can do so with the right help. I have taught middle school, high school and introductory college mathematics courses. I enjoy interacting with students and getting to understand their likes and dislikes about math or even school in general. I have been and still am a member of NCTM and enjoy reading the journals and keeping up new ideas and developments in teaching.

I encourage students to read their textbook and come to tutoring with questions. Vocabulary is important. I adapt my teaching style to your learning style. I feel strongly that students should make a connection between the math they are learning and how they might use it in real life situations. My area is middle and high school mathematics.
