About Steve
I have taught all levels of Algebra, Geometry, Trig., Precalc and Calculus in the classroom since the early 90s. I have taught all levels of High School Physics and Chemistry for just as long. This includes AP classes in each (phys, chem, calc, stats) with excellent student pass rates. I have tutored thousands of hours with much success including standardized test prep. Until now, “word of mouth” has been the only advertising for my services, and it was more than sufficient due to happy customers. But now that I have retired from the classroom, I could use a few more clients.

I have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cal. I have a lifetime teaching credential for both math and physical science from Cal Poly. I am efficient, clear and patient. I always have another approach to teaching things if the first method isn’t working. So many years on the job have made it clear to me that flexibility is a must.
