About Allison
I have 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry, working as everything from a prep cook to a catering director. I currently work as an educator at Prairieland Market, a non-profit local grocery store in Salina, KS. I teach regular cooking classes in collaboration with other local non-profits such as Salina Food Bank and Big Brothers Big Sisters. I work directly with local farmers to source the freshest produce for our CSA program. I am passionate about cooking healthy foods that are good for our environment and local economy!
