About Robert
I have had two careers, I was a physicist designing instruments and performing experiments. I earned my PhD at Iowa State University. I went on to work at the French CEA at Saclay - the CEA is their equivalent to the Atomic Energy Commission and Department of Energy. I then went to England, where I worked at Cambridge University.
When I returned to the US, the Cold War was ending. Programming and Information Technology were a better career path. So I have programmed, designed databases and did business analysis in my second career.

Teaching starts with learning your needs. Explain to me your goals and we will then assess your current level. We will then determine a path to reach your goals. Brilliant and Kahn Academy have excellent teaching materials, so we can go through those together. I will also work on any particular problems that you have, as long as I don't end up doing your homework. There is no Royal Road to learning science or mathematics, so what matters most is what you learn to do on your own.
