About Eleanor
I'm a young creative passionate about sociology. I am hoping to complete further studies in fine art but I am not ready to end my passion for studying sociology as a subject. I plan to continue learning in my free time and stay up to date with the latest theories.
My mother completed a degree in social sciences when I was quite young and some of my fondest memories are of her reading her textbooks to me at bedtime and watching sociological theory videos with her.
I studied sociology at school as soon as I was able to and it was, by far, my strongest subject. When others in the class were confused or we were placed in groups, I would often take the initiative to lead the group or explain to others using different techniques than the teacher. Others found my way of explaining things helpful and I decided I would like to pursue teaching and tutoring in the future.
It may have taken me longer than I anticipated, but I'm glad I made this long-term goal a reality.

The first stage is all about assessing strengths and weaknesses. This is based on input from the student and feedback from activities. From there we can discern areas of focus and tailor lessons accordingly.
The typical length of a lesson is 60 minutes or your desired length of time.
For GCSE and A Level students
Sociology is more than a subject I studied, it's always been a real passion of mine.
I believe in a holistic and personalised approach to learning and structure lessons to each students learning style. This includes alternative and neurodivergent approaches to learning.
Please let me know your preferred learning styles/approaches before the first lesson. I offer an initial free 30 min consult to answer any questions, and discuss your preferences and goals for future lessons.
I also have qualifications in Psychology and understand the integration of the two.
