About Irene
I have been a nurse for over 30 years, predominantly in critical care. I believe its my time to give back to the profession by sharing my knowledge. I have hands on experience in Trauma ICU, Oncology, CTICU, and Progressive Care. I have made the transition to Nurse Educator and have taught in the hospital as well as the classroom. I still continue to work Per Diem at the bedside, as I feel it's important to maintainmy skills and staying current.

I feel it's important to develop critical thinkers who are able to problem solve in any situation. This also includes the classroom. Most have the knowledge its just being able to utilize that knowledge in terms you understand. I believe my non-judgmental and patient style allows for my students to think independently and learn.
