About Isabela
As previously mentioned, I recently graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor's in Health Sciences on a pre-medical track and minors in chemistry, psychology, and public health. I recently took the MCAT exam and am currently in the midst of applying to medical school! I have been a college application coach for the past three years, helping students fill out their common application and write their personal essays. I have also tutored elementary school children in english and science. I currently live in Miami, Florida, and am very eager to continue tutoring!

As someone who struggled with a learning disability when I was a young child, I had to learn how to study in ways that best suited my learning preferences. For this reason, I am easily able to alter any of my teaching methods accordingly to best meet the specific needs of my students. If something isn't working, we'll try something else! My lessons are geared towards high school ages and below. I am also very experienced in coaching through the college application process, from the actual common application to essay writing. I take school seriously, but I also bring a light, fun approach that keeps my students engaged and attentive!
