I have recently graduated from university and I want to tutor and teach because I wouldn't be where I am without the tutors that taught me during my GCSEs and A-Levels. My approach to tutoring is by breaking down the mark schemes/learning objectives into manageable chunks to allow students to properly prepare for exams and tests without becoming overwhelmed by the content. I tend to teach using visual study aids (mind maps, flashcards, 'blerting' techniques') as I find that this is best for long-term memory.
