About Zahabia
I am a recent university graduate from Wilfrid Laurier University in Bachelors of Science (major: Health Sciences). I have 2+ years of tutoring experience with a diverse group of students, including those with learning disabilities. I have worked with students between the ages of 7-19, and can provide a friendly, compassionate, fun, yet productive learning environment.

I like to develop lesson plans and implement them in a structural manner. However, I am flexible according to the student’s needs. I understand that not every student learns the same way, and some students have considerable difficulty in a traditional academic environment. Given the student’s learning style, I tailor my plans and method of teaching accordingly. For example, if the student is a hands-on learner, I will develop activities and games that’ll allow the student to grasp the content more efficiently.
