About Leslie
My name is Leslie Hernandez. Spanish was my first language, and I practice it everyday at home with my Spanish-speaking parents. I recently graduated from UCLA with a Bachelors of Arts in Public Affairs and International Development Studies. In completion of my degree I must meet an advanced language level, therefore during my time at the university I took up to level 5 Spanish courses, passed the University Spanish Exemption Exam, and even studied abroad in Medellín Colombia where I got to practice my language growth everyday! This experience along with my experience as a previous English-language mentee (also at UCLA), makes me confident in my ability to curate personalized lessons plans, that are both effective and interactive for an enjoyable learning experience !
