About Jacob
I'm a recent graduate from the University of Oxford with a Masters degree in Chemistry, having achieved A-Level grades of 3A*s in Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths.
During my time studying for my A-Levels and undergraduate degree, I've always loved helping others by providing some volunteer tutoring for people in years below me, and I really look forward to being able to help even further as a tutor on here! I always try to first understand the current level of knowledge the student has on the subject, so that I can best tailor the session to their specific needs as a pupil.
The lessons themselves are focused around active learning techniques such as working through example problems, quizzes and past papers to reinforce good technique with a specific focus on the exams the students will sit.
