Recent Math and Engineering graduate seeking to assist in algebra (introductory or advanced) skill development of middle to high school students and undergraduates

I had the chance to work with Marina and she is wonderful. She is very knowledgeable and very easy to understand. She was always patient and very helpful even when the subject was to hard to understand. I would highly recommend her as a tutor!

I tutored with Marina for two full years. She was a dedicated tutor who showed up to every meeting early, prepared to start teaching me complicated concepts in a way that was easy for me to understand. I am a visual learner, and from the beginning she caught that. With her, I built the foundation of my study schedule, allowing me to prepare for the difficult courses that I have to take in the future.

Every two weeks I had exams, and Marina ran through past material and practice problems with me until I fully understood each individual concept, no matter how small or complex it was.

If I could recommend one tutor, I would recommend Marina. I have had multiple tutors, and in the classes that I did not tutor with her, I did not do as well. I noticed this firsthand in my test grades, homework assignments, and general class grades.

Not only that, every second that I spent tutoring with her, I felt like I was hanging out with a friend and learning from someone who truly cared about me as an individual. By the end of our time tutoring, I felt confident entering the test setting and was ready to take on any difficult course.

There were nights when I was struggling on homework assignments, and no matter the time, she made sure to provide me with in depth and easy to understand examples similar to what I was struggling with.
