About Emily
Hi, my name is Emily.
I have always loved teaching and have completed multiple work experiences at primary schools tutoring in maths. I have been a year 7 prefect and mentored older students too. I aim to make my learning fun, while helping you to actually understand the content at your own pace.

My approach is friendly, patient and personalised to each student. I focus on making sure students understand the method behind each question rather than simply memorising answers. I adapt the pace and difficulty of lessons to suit each student, creating a comfortable environment where they can ask questions and build confidence.
Lessons are typically 1 hour, with a mixture of explanation, worked examples and practice questions. I can also focus sessions on specific topics or areas where a student needs extra support.
