About Kate
I am about to start a Double Degree at ANU with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Music. I graduated from the IB in November 2022 with a 38 IB score, 96.00 ATAR.
Throughout year 12 I went from a 25 IB score (70.00 ATAR) to a 38 IB score (96.00 ATAR) through year 12 and want to teach more students the valuable skills that I have learned throughout the year. I understand how it feels to not be the smartest in the room and I would love to give my students the ability to feel that way!

I wish to support the students 1 on 1 to foster a supporting and entrusting environment where they feel comfortable to ask me whatever questions or queries they may have about what is being taught. I believe that trust and patience are crucial elements for any tutoring relationship as it means that the students are able to get the most out of the sessions that they can.
My teaching style is very flexible, before the session I will ask if the student is able to send through anything that they want to work on and then we can go from there. I can help with anything from study techniques to help with IA's and EE's, I have resources that I am willing to share with the students to assist them in their studies and will compile resources on a google drive for them along the way so that they always have access to everything we do in a lesson.
