About Calvin
I have spent over three years as a chess coach teaching kids of all ages and abilities. I have also had experience mentoring young children in natural science subjects. My experiences have helped me to be able to work with kids on an individualized lesson plan and be able to identify and correct specific weak points in their learning. This personal approach has been extremely successful in helping my students to overcome obstacles in their learning.

I graduated from Chanhassen High School in 2013 before going to St. Olaf College for my undergraduate degree. At St. Olaf I majored in biology with the hopes of continuing my education in dental school. I graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into the Pre-Health and Philosophy honor societies at St. Olaf during my time there.
