The first thing you should know is that I strongly believe that memory should have as little a place as possible in Maths. Indeed, a more thorough understanding of concepts instead of simply memorising methods is key to long term progression.

Samuel has helped me a lot over my time in high school, especially when it came to thinking rigorously over mathematical questions: this enabled me to independently solve exercises without much help.
Sam is the most enthusiastic person towards mathematics I know. This took him far at school and university, yet he always had the time to help me out. When I struggled at school, he would patiently sit down with me and hear out my personal difficulties. He not only tought me how to do the problems and exercises, but how to properly understand the maths behind them, which helped me for the future. He also took the time to help me through my resits at university, where his guidance gave me the tools needed to pass to the following year.
